More often than not, these "writing about writing" books can be long and dull, however Doty's book is short, too the point and holds your attention. This is even more impressive coming from me given the fact that the book is written mainly for|About the Author||MARK DOTY is the author of eight collections of poetry, including Fire to Fire: New and Selected Poems, which won the National Book Award for Poetry in 2008. He teaches at Rutgers University and lives in New York.
